The Slick Traveller – IPSA Face Color Designing Palette

Hello beautiful strangers, today I’m sharing with you one of my favourite face palettes. The IPSA face colour designing palette is such a beauty and possibly the slickest travelling companion ever!

The colour designing face palette was ranked the #1 cheek product for the first half of 2014 on the Japanese beauty site cosme.net, and it is currently still reigning as numero uno. This ultra slick compact contains the four essentials: Blush, Highlight, Shading and Finishing powder. It includes a full size mirror and a dual-ended brush. The brush is surprisingly nice, the bristles are so soft and the longer side is perfect for swiping on blush or bronzer and the shorter denser side is great for more controlled application. This palette contains everything you need for accentuating the natural contours of your face.

Mine is in the colour-way 102PK and I’ve had it for a little over half a year and I’ve really been enjoying it. The blush is a neutral pink with a satin finish, it isn’t too bright and gives a very natural flush. The highlight is definitely not subtle, it’s creamy off-white with iridescent shimmer. Next is a warm taupey bronzer with a hint of shimmer, even though it has shimmer, it still makes for a natural contouring shade. Lastly is the Perfecting powder. This finishing powder is great for setting undereye concealer or dust all over for a soft-focus perfect complexion. It’s my favourite from the quad as it really melds beautifully with your skin. It’s a great highlight shade too for something a little more subtle during daytime.

The colour design palette is such a convenient little palette to carry around with you. This slim 4-in1 compact with its large mirror saves you so much space on a night out – no one wants to lug around a huge bag at a club. There’s 7.2 grams of product in the palette and I believe it comes in 12 colour-ways. The 12 colour-ways are designed with different complexions in mind so ask the beauty adviser which one she thinks suits you best. I can’t find any English info on this (sorry) but do go check them out if there’s a IPSA boutique in your country.

Look at this baby! It’s smaller than my passport! I don’t usually wear makeup when I go on holiday but if I was going for some fancy occasion, this would definitely be the first thing to go in my travel make up bag.

Happy Friday everyone!

Linzi :)
